Winter Break

I'm slightly discouraged by how little I've been inspired to write lately, let alone in my dumb blog.  But I am an optimist.  I am really enjoying taking this time to absorb all sorts of new things.  I have a lot of ideas floating around right now and I'm doing my best to cultivate each little one into a cohesive expression.

I expected my effort in blogging to decline primarily because I've said a lot of the things I feel and to do so anymore would just be excessive and redundant.  However, I realize I am in a state of transition in which I am becoming the next version of myself.  It's not really punctuated by any distinct events or occurrences, but my expression through writing is.  I figure if I give it some more time to evolve, it will take little effort to get the ball rolling again.

It takes fresh stimuli to induce what I call a "fit of inspiration" and I suppose I've fallen into some sort of hibernation.  I'm not being the active controller of my life right now and I'm just letting things unfold.  My sister is keeping me busy with fitness routines and my body feels great.  Every day is a mental health day as I prepare for the next quarter of school which should keep me very busy.  It is during those times that my brain is firing on all pistons and I focus my thoughts on... everything.  But until then... I will decompress as much as possible.

One more week and my little hibernation is complete.  Then it's time to move on to the next big thing.  Whatever that may be.
